Sacred Space: The Prayer Book for 2027

Many people wish to engage in a meaningful way with The Word that is proclaimed at Mass and to develop a more personal and enriching relationship with God.

The Prayerbook collates the material and resources of the internationally popular sacredspace.com website in one volume and presents the reader with a complete guide to a year of prayer. People return to it year after year as a trusted and accessible spiritual guide. In facilitating a loving encounter with God, this annual prayer companion helps us to read the Bible in a deeper way so that we can receive it as the Word of God.

The book leads us into a life of prayer in a way that is accessible, engaging, and meaningful to daily life. Each day of The Prayerbook includes Scripture reading and points of reflection, as well as a weekly topic enhanced by six steps of prayer and reflection: The Presence of God, Freedom, Consciousness, The Word, Conversation, and Conclusion. In this way it provides the tools to create a reflective prayer environment in our lives.
