Chaplet of the Holy Souls - Mother Teresa

Pat was on a plane going from Ireland to the US, when he was seated he noticed that two women were trying to get his attention to let him sit down! They were two nuns and one of them was none other than Mother Teresa, Pat was speechless and felt very much in awe that he had the privilege of sitting beside such a holy person. Mother Teresa and the other nun immediately took out their rosary beads and began to pray, their beads were half black and half white, Pat wondered why!

When they had finished praying they asked Pat where was he from? When he said Ireland they said ah then you must love the rosary! Pat was embarrassed as he didn’t pray, Mother Teresa asked him to join them and he did. He asked why were her beads coloured and she said they were for the holy souls who she would often pray for and the dark to light represented them moving closer to heaven with our prayers. Mother Teresa gave Pat the beads and when he returned home he went back to Mass and learnt to love the rosary, he visited a friend in hospital sick with cancer and gave her the beads and told her to pray for the souls in purgatory, the woman did and when she got further tests her cancer was gone ,thanks be to God.  Always pray for the souls in Purgatory!
